The bottom line here is that you are creating a website to make money with, so it better be within a niche that is actually profitable and provides you with plenty of monetization opportunities.


You then need to choose a niche that has a good amount of search volume on search engines. The simple fact here is that you do want to choose a fairly popular niche. There is simply no point in choosing a niche that has a very low search volume across the board, whether it is a broad niche or something more precise.

If there is nobody searching for products or services related to the niche that you plan on building a website around, then the profit potential is going to be extremely limited. This also means that you want to do some keyword research for some of the main keywords that might be associated with your niche.

Generally speaking, you want those keywords to have  a minimum search volume of 10,000, with a cost per click value of $2 or more. This will help ensure that your niche actually has enough interest to drive traffic and sell products.

The domain name is one of the most important parts of any website. It's the link you'll send to current and potential customers and advertise on social media. As a result, it should be descriptive and easy to recall and write in. Remember to keep it simple and minimize abbreviations, acronyms, and digits to avoid consumer misunderstanding. You must also select a top-level domain often known as TLD. The .com, .net, or .biz suffix appears at the end of your domain name. In recent years, however, nontraditional TLD names have grown in favor. These TLDs can be based on a company's type, or on its location, whether it's on marketing, advertising, or law .

In other words, this is very easy for people to remember, as this is what most people are used to typing into their address bars when they look for a website. If your website domain has some sort of obscure ending, people just aren't going to be able to remember it. Search engines tend to really like .com websites as well.

When you are choosing a domain name, whether for blog sites or online stores, you also want to ensure that it is something brandable, unique, and memorable. You never want to go with a super generic website name that people aren't going to be able to remember. Sure, your website and domain name does need to be simple and easy to remember, but it also needs to be unique so that it stands out from the competition.
