12/20/2022 15:21:13 +0000
Google Classroom is a cloud-based tool that allows educators/trainers/employers to manage student work online. It integrates seamlessly into Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Calendar, Gmail, Drive, and even YouTube.

The platform offers numerous benefits, including the ability to collaborate with others via real-time chat, assign tasks, grade assignments, and track progress.

Students/employees can use the platform to submit homework, take quizzes, and access course resources. Teachers can monitor attendance, view grades, and communicate with others.
Ease Of Use
Google Classroom is one of the best tools for organizing information and sharing it among employees.

This online learning management system allows you to organize everything related to your courses, manage assignments and communicate with students via email.

You can even add videos, documents, images, presentations and much more.
You can easily set up different classes, groups, and topics.

Students/employees can participate in the class/meetings without having to register separately. They can simply log into their account and follow along.

Teachers/employers can assign tasks and monitor student/employees work.
The interface is very easy to understand and navigate.

There are no complicated steps to take. All you need to do is enter the URL of the classroom and start teaching/training!
Who Can Use Google Classroom?
In addition to those already mentioned above, Google Classroom is also available to anyone with a personal Google Account.

This includes people outside educational settings such as parents, grandparents, friends, family members, and others.
Requirements
In addition to those already mentioned above, Google Classroom is also available to anyone with a personal Google Account.

This includes people outside educational settings such as parents, grandparents, friends, family members, and others.
Setting Up The Classroom
The basic setup procedure for Google Classroom is fairly straightforward, even for first-timers.

The Google for Education Teaching Center provides several how-tos for getting started—this should be your best option if you're searching for the latest videos and info.

In addition, there are also lots of DIY videos on YouTube posted by educators and technology integration experts.

A lot of these educator-made videos include useful tips and tricks they've discovered through experience with the platform in their classrooms, so make sure to check them out!

The first step is to click on the + icon and then select Create Class from the drop-down menu. This brings up a pop-up window where you are asked to name the class, choose a section, and add a subject.

You must click the box next to "I agree to the Terms of Service." Then click Continue.

In the resulting pop-up, you are given the option to accept the terms of service. Once you've done that, you'll see a separate screen.
Adding Content
Once you've created your class, return to the Stream page and add new content by clicking the + button in the top left corner.

You can create announcements, assignments, questions and reuse previously posted content.

After you have everything setup, you can then add new classes. To do this, go to the STUDENT tab and then select ADD NEW COURSES.

You can then add courses by entering the course title, description, instructor, start date, end date, and any notes about the course.

You can also add a link to a YouTube video explaining the course if desired. When you're done, you'll see a list of all the courses you added.

You can edit these courses later on by clicking on the EDIT COURSE button.
Integrations
There are now many external applications and websites that integrate with Gmail.

Some of these applications may partner with Google, whereas others create and publish their third-parties add-on as Chrome extensions.

If Gmail is used extensively, integrating other educational technology (edtech) into your classroom could help to streamline your instruction.
Mobile Options
Google Classroom is one of the most popular apps used by teachers across the world.

But it wasn't always easy to find. There was a time when you couldn't download the app directly onto your mobile device.

Instead, you had to use Chrome or Firefox browsers to view the app.
Now, however, the app is available on every major operating system including iOS, Android, Windows 10, macOS, Linux, and Chromebooks.

And if you're looking to install it on your device, there are many easy tutorials available to show you how.
